Preparing for your BNI Visit

Bring lots of business cards. Whether you choose to apply to BNI, or not, your visit is an excellent networking opportunity. You’ll meet dozens of business people who are exceptionally well-connected with in the business community. Make sure you meet everyone – you never know who someone knows!

You’ll have the opportunity, in the formal portion of the meeting, to briefly introduce yourself. This gives you a chance to share:
1.  Your name
2.  Your business profession
3.  The definition of a “good referral” for you
4.  What makes you different from your competition (or why folks would refer to you).
With a bit of preparation, you’ll be able to ensure you “shine” in your first introduction.
There is a meeting room fee at each BNI chapter meeting. Receipts are issued (for business expense purposes) and the chapter’s Visitor Host will take you through the sign-in process.
